Pictures have appeared on the net of an ASETEK AIO watercooled GTX 980. Even more interesting is that this looks like an Nvidia Reference Design.

Its dual slot and if you read it - it is legit too :)
Maybe I commented before the update :P The triple slot comment is my bad however. Seeing as I have a reference card myself and whatnot.
Its still a bit pointless imo. Good for temperature but surely it ruins the look of the card?

Should see some real nice overclocks with the AIO clamped on there, if TTLs review is anything to go by then low temps, low power draw and high clocks, it's just a bucket load of win!

Would it have hurt then to well I dont know, paint the fan! Nocuta fans perform great and all, however their appearance look utterly terrible. Nice that they kept the Nvidia reference cooler shroud some people have been attempting to do something similar to this.

Chill out dude, it's just a picture, the other images show it with the Enermax twister. Anyway as the news piece states this is only available to the Asian market, but look at the bigger picture.

wait? you're saying the reference cooler looks the same on every card? holy shit i never noticed that before!

Literally just choked on water :D

If I my brain is working correctly all reference 980s are the same, the last one that you linked is simply an AIB (Gigabytes) BB1

It was just a joke calm down ;) , and I also noticed that it had an enermax instead, however I thought it was odd as it said that it was supposed to come with a nocuta. So I just complained about that. I doubt many would want these anyways, they are somewhat convenient. Though from the looks of you wouldnt be able to sli, unless some sort of flexible bridge is used.

Also hows that 750ti working out for you? I've heard that you can get some massive OC's with that chip, silicon lottery aside anyways.

Thing is, Maxwell is so good on temps now.. this doesn't really make that much sense? surely?
