A suitable RAID Card

Hi all,

After some advice if I may...

I'm looking for a RAID card controlled to go in my home server.

I't needs to accommodate the following, 4 x 3tb SATA 6gb/s hard drive's, RAID 5, true raid (don't want to strain my cpu)..

Now I'm still a little green when it comes to raid arrays but I wanted to still achieve high read / write speeds, whilst having the comfort that if 1 of the drives goes down I'm able to restore.

Also to note that there will be up to 3 computers / laptops at any given time reading or possibly writing information to these drives at the same time.

If anyone has any recommendations of any cards that would be great! or have any suggestions on how to better my goal.

we need a budget and we can go from there

when it comes to RAID 5/6 write speeds aren't exactly jaw dropping from what ive read, read speeds should be an improvement. im in the process of rebuilding my home server with a RAID 6 array, so ill try and help where i can
