7700HQ vs 7700K For Laptop Video Rendering?

Hi, I'm looking to get a laptop from PC Specialist for gaming but focusing more on video editing (Vegas Pro 14). Both models I'm looking at are largely the same and are configured to have a have Corsair 2133MHz DDR4, a GTX 1060 and an SSD of some sort but one has a desktop 7700K and the other one has a laptop 7700HQ.

I've read that the GPU's makes no difference in render times after the GTX 500 series (900 series on Premiere Pro) so I have to prioritise the CPU.

The only benchmark results I can find between the two CPU's AND my current i5 2500K as a baseline is Cinebench R15:

2500K Stock - 460
7700HQ Stock - 740 (280 more)
7700K Stock - 988 (248 more)

With only a £200 delta between the two (~£1300 on 7700HQ model, ~£1500 on 7700K), it seems like an absolute no-brainer, but how relevant is this one synthetic test to real-world performance gains?
