BF4 isn't locked to 30 FPS and I would be astonished if they made such a fundamental screw up.

I didn't even know that it's made with frostbite engine. That makes it even more hilarious :lol: ... or sad, depends how you look at it.
Just one more video because....well i can't stop laughing at how ridiculous this is. We need to make a petition asking EA to lock the game at 480p.

The reason for this, is probably that you are usually in a strong disadvantage when you have a low framerate in a fast paced game, so they tied gamespeed to framerate, so that people with lower frames, don't miss vital stuff, which in racing games can happen. Of course this is rather stupid, if you can speed up the game by increasing your fps past real-time. I doubt that this same effect also appears in multi-player

Why bother, it's the same recycled game with a new price tag. Most Wanted is the best in the NFS series, Underground is not bad either.

This vid just angered me listening to his mindless rants and moaning about 30fps being unacceptable (i'll come back to that) but his complaints about the game being buggy at 60 then 120fps shock horror you played with the command line parameters and now it's unplayable, well colour me pink with a feather up my arse!.
The game was layed out and optimised to run at 30fps by EA deal with it, pretty sure EA know what they are doing.
The human eye registers perfect image motion at 24 - 25fps, so 30fps should be more than enough for a comfortable gaming experience.
