Yes mate they did, I went from a 3080 gaming x trio to a 4070ti ventus 3x, which is about 19% on average faster and it's 12G of Vram instead of 10, so yeah pretty happy with that I must say.

So with the market being so flat I'm not going to bother selling my 5950X and Ram as I seriously don't think I'll get the money for it so I'm going to order an MSI B550 Tomahawk Max WiFi and use it till I get the money maybe in July for my 7000 series chip, and at least that way I'll have myself a decent spare system once my X670E system is up and running.

Absolutely mate, that's what I plan to do with this 2600k I'm using ATM my Synology 415+ is a POS it's been back to Synology to be repaired and a couple of months later the exact same issue is there, I contacted them in December and I'm still waiting to hear from them and I'm so angry right now.
But yeah I think turning it into a NAS it'll smash the Atom processor in this hunk of junk Synology for sure.

So my luck just turned, a mate is swapping my 5950X for a 5800X with $600 which is great as that's enough for me to buy my 7800X3D and the 5800X is still an awesome backup for me rather than my 2600K so it's a real win for me, then all I need to do soon is buy my DDR5 and my AM5 platform is up and running! Then I'm going to do what AlienALX suggested and turn the 2600K into a NAS. So happy right now
