What difference would regasing to 507 make to you overclocks from 404?

I know its about 8-10c temp wise but does this make any dif to the overclock?

Thanks guys.

Yeah I think it really it's worth it. To get the best use though you might want the fans running faster than normal (which I don't mind). Welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the welcome Gollum.

So its about a 20mhz difference on the overclock. Is that what most people have expeirenced with AMD chips too.

I see your runing a 57 if you are trying to bench with it i would advise having it done as you probably noticed most people already have.

I pressume you are having the mach off Phil if i was you i would get him to do the regass before you have it,i'm sure he would do you a good deal!

IT does make a difference and deffo worth doing (ECT should put this gas in anyways IMHO)

But I still put all my fans on turbo for benching at max overclock (272x13) but then back the clocks off so I can run 27/7 and set fans manually to 1800 rear speed and 1550 front speed which (at an ambient of 25 degrees) keep the mach unit nice and cool, quiet with good performance (usually I run at 250x13 on my FX55 for day to day stuff)
