3DMark 2006 Scores: Show It Off!

Yup, I also had the G0 q6600, are you quoting the vid from coretemp? I think mine was 1.28v too... I sent it back, max stable OC was 3.5... Could get more at unsafe voltage...

Crack on and clock up :)

Finaly got it stable, at 1.34vcore or something, yes, quite high. Temps are still 35degrees idle though normal load about 50degrees and after I stress it for an hour about 60 but thats it.

OC'd GPU to 535/675.

Your 3dmark score is 11087

So, im quite happy atm :D

I can quite easily run 3dmark06 with like 3400ghz, but it just isnt stbale after prime95 stress test, takes a while but it crashes.

so how come some peps with lower overclockes on 2 core chips are kicking my butt my gpu dont go any more internal is at 700 mhz and ram is running at 2280 effective and my dominator are at 1213mhz 5-5-5-14

My 1st q6600 was stable at 3.5 and would bench at 3.7/8 with high volts.

My current q6600 is stable at 3.7, 1.55v and will bench at 4.0ghz with 1.65v...

I'm thinking of doing 3dm06 again, this time pulling out all the stops and hopefully get close to 15K

koganinja - what score are you chasing?

i would like some were in the 14-15k bracket i thought i would have broken thet with this set up but just short unless i can sqeez more out from some were

Well you can always add more voltage to your cpu, get an extra few hundred mhz out of it = bigger score.

It doesn't have to be prime stable to bench - hence me pumping 1.65v in for benching as 3dm06 takes what, 10mins to run? Then I take a screenie and turn the volts back down. No harm done!

Set windows to performance, set high priority to benchmark, turn everything non essential in the background off, try tighten your latencies and squeeze every hertz out, again, as long as they complete the bench and you don't run 24/7 on unstable settings then I don't see a problem.
