3DMark 2006 Scores: Show It Off!

Thanks : ) its probably one of the highest with 4830 tbh lol at £87 a pop and within 10% performance of 4850 they are such a good deal :D

Cant get it much higher tho just tried and anything over 3.2 fails. my chip is such a bad clocker that 3.6ghz took almost 1.5v to get lol... its hopeless. Chose the P45 for the oc'ing capability aswell so it's rather irritating...

Might go for a new cpu or something i got a q6600 here and an e8200 just sitting there could sell both for a Q9550 if I wanted hum..... and £140 available hum... so many options...

or could just go back to the e8200 :D

That's some crazy price versus performance.

I look a little further up the thread and see a stock qx9650 and 9800gx2 getting 17k+ and I seem to remember running mine at stock with a GTX280 getting 17.5k or so. Granted as soon as the qx9650 is clocked the figures jump into silly numbers.

Love to see some real-life benchy results on ur setup, perhaps in another thread, cos for the price, including q6600, those results look crazy-high.

I think I may do that. Only thing I can comment on atm is I know that cod4 with 4x aa and everything max on my 1920x1200 is over 60fps lol.

Will get round to some benches soon : )

I got 125fps capped on cod4 4xaa with my 4870, was @ my max res though 1280x1024, but didn't flicker down.

I can live with that, not bad for my solid little 9800 :D Looking at upgrading to a 4890 when pay day rolls around though, should help out a bit
