i managed to fix this myslef as i rang my friend to see if he could think what it could be and he started luaghing his ati loving ass was at my house saturday and he was complaing about my cards being to loud and hot for his liking i dont care i have a bearded dragon my room is always 28c+ 24/7 but any he went to say while i was out the room he severely underclocked my cards i loaded up msi afterburner he had basicly killed the clocks they were at minimum on the bars 400mhz core clock 810mhz Shader and 920mhz memory clock so ive put them back up with a minor oc and now im getting 34k gpu score on vantage

More proof why I never let anyone touch my computers.

Thankfully no-one that I know has anything even close to the knowledge needed to do that

. Being the IT genius in the family is a double-edged sword, whilst it's great that no-one can #### up my PC without me knowing, I do get tired of being called upon to fix all of the minor (user) errors that their systems seem to amass...

Some times lack of knowledge can be more dangerous when they get onto your computer.

Hell I'll charge family I ain't that way, work for free once and you will work for free forever.

Hmm, after helping out some friends in the past I've found myself being invited round for what I think is a social thing only to get the dreaded "My PC is a bit slow" or "I got this message"...

The next issue can be is once you've touched someone's PC they consider you responsible for every single issue they get after that point.

I actually had one of my friends neighbours with a PC issue a while back, as I didn't know her and it was out of my way and, to be honest, I have far better things to do, I said I'll look at it for £50. I already had an idea what the issue was (a few hours to fix) but if I'm going to save her £100+ going to a shop and could fix it there and then it's fair. She decided against it and, to cut a long story short, ended up spending £300+ and not getting a proper fixgoing elsewhere.

I admit, while I'm happy to help my close friends or give what little advice I can on forums like this, I don't want to fall into the trap of spending most evenings fixing peoples stuff for free any more. I mean once one chap tried to haggle me down on price when I was offering my time for FREE and needed to order some parts! He wanted to pay me LESS than the parts cost me - I'd even shown him the site I'd order from so he knew exactly the cost! *sigh*

Cheers,

Scoob.
