3d mark scores 780 sli i7 3770k

So i downloaded 3dmark vantage just to do some comparisons,

with my i7 3770k @ 4.2, SLI 780 ACX @ stock 16GB corsair dominator @ 1600mhz, seasonic 850W X-series PSU.

performance mode as its the free version;

P48092,
Graphics score 61460
CPU score 29103

also its says this about my ram;

Corsair DDR3 @ 667 MHzModule 28

it says this for both modules? is this right i thought it was at 1600mhz? can someone please help =/

does this score sound about right?

downloaded 3dmark 11 too, my score

If you don't manually set the timing RAM runs at 1333mhz. Here is a guide to set it up made by the guv:


Also, the 667 is for one channel, ram is dual channel so 667 x2 is 1334. so your ram is running at 1334. Someone who's got better understanding will explain this to you much better than me.

Dual channel has nothing to do with the doubling of the frequency, DDR, or double data rate, does that.

hi thanks for the reply. well my ram is set to 1600mhz in bois and cpuid reads it @ 799.9 :S what about the benchmark score does it seem low?

Don't bother with 3Dmark Vantage, it is ancient and bottlenecks GPUs.

Your 3dmark11 score looks about right for the clocks and setup you are using.
