3dmark Time Spy DX 12 Bench.

It's a shame you measure on overall and not graphics otherwise I would be in 12th place easy as I beat all the 480's and 1060's and one fury p. Oh well I'll have to upgrade my cpu
If that was the case then they would all be in separate catagories, I could argue the same as those lucky enough to have the 6950X trump the board (Cough Kaap) it's why all the important numbers are coloured. You've done well with the RX480 if I'm honest.

Thanks man Im super pleased with hitting 1500 on core and maxing memory too. I see now yea I'm in a different colour.

I might steal my friends 6900k for a day and rerun the test

What were the temps on the 480? Or were fans at 100% the whole time? Those numbers are pretty insane dude. Basically got a Fury X in gaming performance at half the TDP with those numbers

I have a lot of scores I left off the scoreboard for similar reasons like this one.:)

Not for the scoreboard

Temps sat around 82 degrees under the stress load. Nevertheless I wont put it on 1500mhz for the long term because the core voltage has to go up to 80 and I don't want it that high. My everyday clock is 1450mhz on core and 2150mhz on memory with a +50 power limit and +42 core voltage. I get an average of 75fps in witcher all on ultra and hairworks on medium.:) On that it averages around 72 degrees with that clock

What are exacally the average 480's graphics score anyways. Also aquatuning have sold out on my card now :(

My Lord that's impressive for a 480 with that OC.
You're getting another? Damn hopefully you just get as lucky with it

I really wanted to get another from aquatuning and crossfire it (both with the 1450mhz core and 2150mhz memory) as I have a budget surplus but they completely sold out. I was debating to buy another 480 or go with a ryzen upgrade - problem with that is I game at 1080p and ryzen will bottleneck. I was hoping my i5 2500k was not going to bottleneck but I'll have to contemplate the decision.

This card is frickin awesome dude! I'm really happy we decided to go with the XFX 480 as I was about to go with the GTX 1060.

Those XFX cards kick serious ass. Very impressive there man :)

I honesty recommend the 480 and specifically the Black Edition XFX to anyone, any day of the week :)

I wonder how my card will compare with the new AMD 500 series too

Ryzen won't bottleneck you with 2 cards. They are together not much more than a 1080. You'd be fine. You'd still get a large increase over a 2500k so it's not like you're losing anything, I'd just suggest waiting for Ryzen 5 though

This is probably off topic but my budget surplus can only be spent on a new 480 or a new cpu. So its a matter of what is going to give me the most value.

Does that mean this thread is dead then? Sorry for the mild necro bump, but I'm kinda bench horny today. :)

Aye, perhaps it is time for a mod to start a new thread.

If I remember tomorrow I will try and get a new thread started.
