3dmark Time Spy DX 12 Bench.

Yup it can make a difference especially if you want to edge more numbers.

oops.. seems my gpu oc reset due to driver update.. Il re run for the extra few points.

Re edit
ok so the GPU oc is worth ~300 points over all and nearly 400 on gfx or ~2-3fps. "STILL WORTH IT!"

i5 2500k @ 4.333
gtx 780 @1358.7 Gpu / 1667.3 Vram "had to be tweaked with new driver releases since i did my sig"
base clock @101 (if i leave it at 100 it relly gives me 99. and 101 seems to really be 101 so its what i use)
ram @ 1612 Stock timings.

I guess it seems about right put me in the top bracket for similar systems "3rd if im to be precise, sop im happy with it as a 24/7 stable oc, i dont see the point in suicide test runs". Does show the benefit of newer hardware too if i compare to other scores here, although it does confirm my suspicions that a 480 or 1060 would not be worth the money for me.

oh and its the latest nvidia game ready drivers. 372.54
3dmark seems to call them 21.21.13.7254

That's the highest 480 here. My GPU is a beast though. On the latest crimson 17.3.1 which is why there is a warning.

EDIT: yes its the highest 480 here by a good 400 points. Its not letting me launch it online due to chrome being unresponsive.

New results. Finally beat all the 1060's and 480 in graphics. The CPU test is a let down though which will drag me down the scoreboard. I will upgrade to an i7 7700k soon

I7?! Boo! Ryzen! Lol
That's some serious scores. What GPU is that?

I can update the OP that's no problem, only issue is I need your timespy result web link and a valid result.

RX 480. You should know NBD we did a whole thread on the XFX Black edition 480 - it's a beast. I got 1475mhz on core and 2250mhz on memory. It's definitely the best 480 or 1060 here for graphics - CPU is another story :) What do you think. I know you have the MSI 480 too - what are your scores like. I'll also update my original thread on the XFX 480

In terms of ryzen I'm just not sure yet. I think it's too early to adopt

The validation warning is only the driver and that happens with all new drivers but I can't get timespy demo to launch Google chrome

What I might try to do is OC my cpu to 4.6GHz and push my 480 to 1485 on the core and 2250 on the memory which is already maxed just to get higher scores and get the link going. Great thing is this GPU isn't pushing past 2.5v on timespy so I have a some headroom

I thought you returned it because of faulty something.. couldn't remember, that's why I asked

I think those are insane numbers. Haven't seen anyone else hit those clocks

Yea it turns out the fans were faulty. They sent me new Red LED ones and its been perfect. I'm surprised no one else can hit those numbers or clocks. Im gonna go balls out and max memory and go 1490 on the core and OC my cpu to 4.6 GHZ. Lets see what happens

I hit 1500Mhz on core and 2250MHz on memory - These are insane numbers for the 480. The stock is 1266

Here is the card in action - How about that NeverBackDown ;)

All I need now is a new CPU
