I plan on running it stock for a few weeks then doing a mild OC when i get used to it. This is my build so far.

welcome to OC3D,

yeah, i'd use the i5 on the G45 board. i'd have to pass on using it with the i7
though. if you are lookin for meah.. the G45 and 3570k on 1600 RAM

since you are not overclocking till later, scratch the hyper 212 for now, until you
are ready for the overclocking experience. maybe by then things change or you
find some upgrade cash. the OE Intel cooler is pissy, but when the cash is short,
go for the big ticket items and dressy-ups later. plus there will be a rebate on the
hyper 212 (always is).

why not get the corsair 300R, better cable management and air-flow possibilities.
same price point and more modern.

well i dont want to turn down the i7 because right now i can get it at almost 100 dollars off so its too good of an offer to pass up on. I'll ditch the cooler for now and i like the corsair cases but i really would like 4 usbs on the front of the case. Since I'm dropping the cooler any mobo suggestions for the 3770k?

Done. Any recommendations on a case with at least 3 front usb ports at least 1 being usb 3.0 for a pretty low cost?

fractal design arc midi - 2x USB 2.0 and 1x USB 3.0 (but they are top mounted).
in the states during the holidays it was $50 shipped...

the corsair 200/300/400/500 all are 2x USB

The midi is a nice case but too expensive :/ and damn corsair for not having enough usbs i really love their designs but i want at least 3 front panel usbs.

the 300r is that much better then the 410? and i think i can mod it to put 2 usb 2.0s from the internal header and drill a hole in the i/o panel for it

i think more so. getting what you need, not what you dont and having to pay for it
as well. plus the power phase is great for speedy memory 2133 and internal
graphics regulator. many members use and suggest them over giggy and asus
for price alone.
