Them prices keep on dropping, I reckon 120gb SSDs will bottom out around £60 soon and 60gbs for £40.

Epic prices

, even the 240gb are dropping to around £165, i still remember when i bought a 64GB Kingston Sata 2 SSD for £153 when SSD were still being released. I thinks my next one will be a 240GB so i can dash more programs on it

It's crazy how fast SSD's are falling. It seems like every week £2-3 is being knocked off the prices.

Makes me really happy. Maybe I can get a nice sized SSD for my laptop.

I don't think this is a price drop, but price drops are definitely happening. This is just a weekend offer I think. But I can't wait for the days when SSD's are constantly this price

I was just going to post this linkage. Buying myself 1 just because.

Got a feeling there's a reason coming.

Reason for what?

Component prices usually take a dive when something's about to happen.

Especially in the UK, every effort is made to squeeze cash out of consumers, on a general basis. When something like this comes along, and Aria were showing slashed ssd prices last month or so, something tends to be coming.

Maybe a higher capacity is about to be more mass produced and they don't feel they can't make the rpp much/any higher than the highest priced ssds at the moment... so.. there's a domino effect with the lower capacity drives' prices.

Price has mainly gone from £1/G+ to close to £0.6/G within months.

Nice. We had a topic on this some time back but now it looks like the higher-end drive prices are coming down too! I'm tempted to buy that's for sure, but saving for my WC build first.

Scoob.

that has prompted me to buy one as well, so it looks like a fresh install for me this week. Not done that in ages any top tips for SSDs?
