120gb SSD for £60? Yes please

that has prompted me to buy one as well, so it looks like a fresh install for me this week. Not done that in ages any top tips for SSDs?

AHCI mode and dont do a defrag

You have the option of IDE or AHCI in the bios and AHCI is used for SSDs in order to get the best performance from the drive.

On a more technical note, I am unsure. However I believe it is how the OS talks (if you will) to the SSD.

Got these drives, great performers - 1 personal gripe. The SATA connections don't allow the clip action, the cables can slip on and off too easily.

Not a big deal to some maybe.
 
They will probably be down again next week or another retailer will have a deal on a different SSD, seems to be the trend lately with SSDs.
