sorry, they're fixed now, imageshack apparently had the size set to 150x100p by default.

Very nice progress, and wohoo, lacing!

Small tip about that btw.: Depending on how your cables will be bent (or if) and how tight you
lace them, it might be easier to only do the lacing once it's all inside and mounted, then you
can lace the bends right into the cable runs. It also depends on how many wires you have
in your wire package though, but I just thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for the tip, I'll see how it works, unfortunately I can't really access the cable once they're in place.

Very nice and interesting mod, I own a G5 myself as well, using it as a night stand at the moment (it's quite a nice design and very sturdy, it's ideal!)

All the cables are now laced (actually my mum did most of work as I'm completely usless with needle and thread, and although she knows nothing about computers she's usually quite exited about my projects )

But as nice as my cables looked now, getting them behind the mainboardtray without having a removable sidepanel turned out even more difficult than I thought.

Therefore I had to pick up some cable management stuff from MDPC

With these cambleclips the back of the mb tray tured out rather tidy:
