can anyone tell me which chipset is suitable for Premiere pro , x99 or z170?

and then i have two choices for the motherboard, Asus or msi ?

and then if Asus is the pick, is the x99 Deluxe enough for my build or i go with the rampage v extreme.

thank you

Go X99 as the more cpu cores will help with CPU based rendering. For motherboard the x99 deluxe will be perfect. The only reason you'd need to get the rampage would be for extreme overclocking.

Do you have a budget?

Yeah definitely X99.

The price difference has become bigger, but it's still pretty small and definitely worth it to spend the extra bit on X99 if you do video rendering.

thank you friend

i also did think that the rampage will be too much for this build

here in my country the x99 deluxe is 528$ which is fine for me

is the msi geforce gtx980ti sea hawk 6G a good card ? or i go with the asus geforce gtx980 poseidon platinum 4G ?

The X99 Pro is still an epic board for the money too.....

too bad but they don't have the x99 pro ... so i guess i'll go with the deluxe.

so what about the msi geforce gtx980ti sea hawk 6G, is it a good card?

or i go with the asus geforce gtx980 poseidon platinum 4G?

If you want the power then go for the 980 Ti, Unless money is an issue there really isn't any point in going with the lower end 980 non Ti.

is the msi a good card so i would go and buy it?

The MSI has an AIO watercooling system on it. Its the same as the corsair one we have reviewed here (search front page)

The Poseidon is air but you can connect a waterblock too. I personally say that if youre not going to have a full watercooling loop to cool it then something like the Asus Strix GTX980 Ti would be better.

i didn't find here the asus gtx980ti strix .... they're not selling it ...

thank u by d way

If using the latest Premier Pro, probably better to go AMD as AMD and Adobe work pretty closely with hardware/software implementations which includes OpenCL, which is slowly becoming a standard it seems for rendering/editing software ot seems. If you are looking at a 980ti, you could probably get a fury x cheaper but a 390x/Fury would probably get more bang for your buck. If you really want Nvidia, and you cant get a strix, look at the msi gaming
