mITX case suggestions

Hey guys,

So I've hit a wall now, after some extensinve searching after an Corsair 380T case, I've come to an end here... The case is no longer available :(

After some browsing on these forums, I came across an thread called "M-ATX Case Suggestions" and King of old school mentioned an Caselabs Bullet BH4 case.

Then I looked at their other cases to see if there were an smaller version, an mITX version, and there were. In the form of Caselabs Bullet BH2 :)

Now that I found that case, I wanted to ask you for recommendations first, before finalizing a decision here.

What I'm looking for is good airflow, ie 2 x 120/140's intakes, 2 x 120's that can hold an AIO cooler and an exhaust fan spot.

I'd prefer an horisontal motherboard configuration if possible. And preferably in black.

Lastly, it needs to be compatible with an ASUS 1080 Strix, which I now noticed the above Bullert BH2 unfortunately isn't :(

Any suggestions etc are welcome :)

Thanks,
Chrazey

I've a Yellow 380T and love it, TBH I wasn't even aware that the 380T'd become EOL.

Next up, I'd say an Air 240 or an EVGA Hadron (though the PSU isn't your standard ATX size).

I've the Hadron also, so the 380T became the spare but I've kept it for in case I want to swap back! The Hadron had the smaller footprint or just looked aesthetically more with my place so took precedence.

Edit: Oh, I'm not entirely sure on the Strix fitting those cases, I could always measure up if need be if you get the dimensions, that is when I've a spare moment.

I don't think there are many horizontal ITX cases that fit that many fans. The Case Labs S3 is more versatile than the Bullet cases, in my opinion. There will be horizontal ITX case by the likes of Silverstone and Lian-Li, but they'll be expensive and won't have many fan mounts or support 240mm radiators. For vertical motherboard mounts I think the NZXT Manta is one of the best available. I like Parvum cases as well, but they're really better suited for custom water cooling. Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ITX is great, but sadly the panels aren't aluminium like their bigger brothers.

Sorry guys for the late update, I managed to get hold off an "used" 380T, but it was never opened by the person who sold it.

Was a bit expensive since the 380T's are now EOL and therefore go for higher prices now.

And I'm pretty sure the 1080 Strix will fit inside of it. As I've had the case before, I know it will barely fit, like really tight, but will fit.

You_What?, if you got time and can be bothered to measure, feel free to :)

Thanks everyone for your help :)

Sorry, hadn't realised you'd replied, had kept an eye out but then thought you'd probably gone a different direction?!

May I ask how much you got yours for, unsure on what to price mine at, letting go, its the Yellow/Black.

Did you go for the Red/Black?

Finished the build?

I've just switched back to ATX following a disatrous mini-ITX build from Scan, but I opted for the NZXT Manta. It's the only 'practical' ITX case I could find since it had space for AIO radiators up to 280mm, and had space for two SSDs with a HDD on the side.
