Thats the way i'm looking at the moment, just debating now between which ryzen chip tbh, thinking the 1700x as it looks a solid option, my plan is whatever i get i won't be changing it for atleast 2 years or more, the last PC i built 5 years ago and haven't upgraded it since till now.
