Twin Corsair Sandforce SSD in RAID 0 (fail number one).

Corsair H70 (fail number two).

ETC.

So I point out that RAID 0 on those drives is epic fail. Then some cock tries to tell me that Sandforce SSD do the work themselves. Erm? So, I instruct him to go and read a review of the OCZ revodrive, then give him this.

Cons:

- Most RAID controllers lack pass-through TRIM support

- High probability for disk disasters with RAID-0

- Very low value to performance improvement

Which the CHIV certainly does not.

And then we got into the NH-D14 argument as he dared to say it couldn't keep up with the H70.

I didn't watch any more, but I probably missed the part where they put 200gb of ram in the stupid thing.

And if I here one more person call a Radeon a Ray-deon I am going to commit atrocities.

Yeah and it's super awkward now due to google wanting you to verify ETC.

Honestly it took me ten seconds to find out that 99.9999% of RAID controllers do not allow TRIM commands to pass to the SSDs behind them. And, as if a £150 AMD board (as it's only Intel who make the pass through controllers) is going to have one

The comment about the H70 was hysterical.. "I wanted my 1100T X6 @ 4ghz and the Noctua and Thermalright can not do that on the 1100T".

Eh?!?! I've seen a 1090T reach that EASY on a NH. Only thing stopping it going higher was actually the CHIV, so the dimmies can't even pick a motherboard.

I should have told him I had 3.9ghz on a P2 940. Mind you, better not he might cry and take his ball home.
