So come on then

I'll start off by naming some popular ones in a poll, request me to add more as/when

Any format, any platform

Choose more than one if you're a confused person

Bah I don't have any of them :(

Was thinking of getting the orange box for TF2 but not really been that bothered. I was all hyped about UT3 until I played the demo and waited for the game thinking it would be better, but sounds like it's just as bad :(

I'm sticking with counterstrike source for now.

All great games apart from UT3 which for me was the big disappointment of the year :( No innovation and ran horribly. S.T.A.L.K.E.R was very buggy but there was a good game in there to be found :)

As a racing sim nut I loved ProStreet and DiRT this year :)

I don`t feel qualified to poll this. I lose attention too quickly in modern games and end up pick flaws in them. (then go back to playing totalwar & fifamanager >.<)

I would like to pick the UT3 engine tho. Maybe not as good as I would have liked it to be, and after the 3rd or 4th game u see using it u get the same `ole same `ole, but it is ~good~.

I've said CoD4.. Only started playing it last night but it was immense..

I would have said Football Manager 08 too as it takes away quite a chunk of my life.

Went with UT3, Bioshock, COD 4, and the Orange Box

I found UT3 to be awesome personally dunno why no one else likes it, me and Jim will play lol. Bioshock was great, I haven't gotten addicted yet, and my PC just died, so I can't start again. I order COD 4, and I can't wait to play it, it looks great, and I loved Portal so I went with Orange Box.

UT3, Crysis and COD4

UT3 was demo on my PC, Crysis was on my dads PC and COD4 was for the 360 :p

Not for long though ;)

Well I have to go Crysis and Stalker. I've had a lot of fun with Crysis the last week or so, okay it's not particularly groundbreaking but the graphics are lovely and it is a very good gaming environment, which gives you options in whatever you want to do.

Stalker was I think the single game that made me want to expend money upgrading my pc back when it came out. Very enjoyable game, I never experienced and major hitches with it. Except updates destroying my save games! Nice visuals, good sound. Totally enjoyable and completely imersive, I could and probably still can play it all night, sad as it is, I think that's the true test of a good game.

Also I'd like to throw some kudos the way of The Witcher, which I haven't got that far in, but is a very enjoyable RPG with very good features. The first proper non dungeons and dragons prg (baldurs gate etc have been awesome) that I have enjoyed :)

Stranglehold is good - like Resevoir Dogs was good.

U start it thinking, pffft @ gfx, then u get into the storyline.

Just as easy too, probably hence the content.
