XSPC Raystorm D5 RX240 - Cooling set up?

Hi guys, just wanted to know what you guys think about using the XSPC Raystorm D5 RX240 kit for cooling a 3930k and a GTX Titan? From what I've seen from reviews, the 360mm radiator will run it fine without a single problem.

Thanks in advance,

Meng

It will run it alright yes.

You may want to consider putting an additional 240mm rad in there somewhere in order to run your fans slow, but the single 360 will be fine if you aren't so bothered about that.

I swear that said RX360 when I looked before.....

Yeah, you need a minimum of a 60mm thick 360mm rad (or make that up with multiple rads like 2x 240mms)

Thanks for reply guys, I guess I will just stick the 240 to run my CPU for now and get a 360 to replace it later on and moving the existing 240 down for the GPU.

Thanks for the help!

Why not just get the 360 now instead of later?

Why not just get the 360 now instead of later?

Maxed my budget so I couldn't get the 360 kit and I figured the 240 will come handy once I can get my hands on a 360 and a GPU block.

Has anyone had any experiences with the NZXT GPU cooling plates?

Thanks

Meng

Save the money and wait till you can get a 360. If budget is an issue, no sense in buying a 240 now for temporary and then get a 360. You'd lose money that way.

Already bought it and I needed to start ordering my parts as I need the rig soon, would it be more suitable to run an RX360 (once I get it) and a RX240 plus a GTX Titan WC plate or would the difference not be much running a single RX360?

Thanks

RX360 for hot CPU overclock and single GPU overclock is all that is necessary.
the RX240 is for a SLI/CFX addition, if not using SLI/CFX, then 240 is not needed.
i'd sell the RX240 now and save for RX360, air-cool till then. no sense fitting
something you are not going to use.

I think I might keep the RX240 when I get the RX360 which is only something like 100 quid so it is minimal cost. The RX240 I think I might save since I might be moving onto Titan SLI.

Thanks for the ideas.
