dfi and corsair bad combinations

DFI and Corsair - Kingston don't work well. Kingston has about a 50% failure rate as does corsair. DFI's are the best motherboards and are very picky when it comes to certain things especially ram, DFI lanparty's work best with a nice TCCD based ram which is not corsair ;)

Corsair will work on a DFI board and will OC

There's some guides on the DFI forums for DFI + Corsair

Admittedly other stuff works better :)

hmm i was just browsing through dfi street, and it seems alot of people have troubles with corsair and there lanparty's erroring at stock

I run Geil 2X1gb but i have some Corsair Value Select 2X1gb which works fine in my DFI aswell.

I have never had a memory compatabilty problem.

Sometimes the DFI's take a bit (or a lot) of tweaking in order to get things (especially memory) running correctly.

But as long as you have patience, and can read forum posts, then there is no reason why your memory shouldn't work pretty well with the board.
