Title says it all and here is the source (and pic):

"Legit Reviews reports XFX is going to launch its first power supply at Computex next month. It will be a 850W unit with a modular cables, flashy design and 80 Plus Silver certification.

XFX, one of the world's largest video card manufacturers, is getting ready to announce their very first power supply line at Computex Taipei 2009 next month. Details have emerged on the XFX 850W Black Edition power supply, which features one single +12V rail with a massive 70Amp/840W rating. The power supply is modular as you can see in the image below and is 80 plus silver certified, since it is 88% efficient. No word on pricing yet, but it looks like the power supply market just got a little more crowded. "

This is actually about what I expected from a company like XFX and is a strong start for their PSU branch. Green and black design might not flow too well with some cases, but I like the overall modular appearance standing alone.

Zomg ! no mobo power !

hehe looks a typical XFX brandage. Knowing them, it'll probably run well, half decent package. (and pre-soldered mobo power I'm sure)

Nice to see a larger company offering competition.

Just thinking to myself, u could judge those modular connections as controller ports and call it a re-designed XBox 1.

Nice to see they've not waded in there with a 'KW' PSU and have actually researched the market on what wattage people are buying/needing at the moment.

Colour is a bit rank imo, maybe they'll do a 'Crossfire' version in red tho :p

As always, the proof of a PSU is in the testing - so c'mon XFX don't be shy come knock on my front door ;)

It's a bit rubbish looking but I'm sure it will appeal to a certain 'gamer' market that companies are always on about.

One day they'll actually learn who their demographic actually are
