I just purchased all seperate parts and I'm putting them together. Have problems with getting the board to boot.
I put a Core2 Quad CPU in the board, installed 2GB DDR2 ram, connected the power supply and I get a diagnostic readout via the onboard LEDs of 88 which it displays whether the memory is in the board, or the CPU. In other words, if I take out the memory and the CPU, the board still displays 88.
I know that the RAM is good, and the board and CPU is brand new.
Does anyone have an opinion on what might be wrong?
