X99 Finally Done ^_^

Little Update.

As the initial overclock was just quick and dirty, I've since played around and keeping the same clock of 4.50GHz it's now running game and bench stable at 1.26v :)

Although I would like to dabble in adaptive voltage so when at idle it isn't running at 1.26 all the time, Research time.

Last of the Cablemod cables came in today, Only thing left to do is get 3 black braided SATA connectors and another quad channel kit of Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz -

I actually have those memory. Been considering getting those Dominator Platinum Orange edition, but holy cow they're expensive :( It's hard justifying the price when I can buy 2½ kits of the LPX 3000 for the same price lol.

I'm not into flashy memory any more, The dominator stuff is the same stuff as the LPX performance wise just with a more blingy housing, I think LPX stuff looks quite stealth like and fits into the RVE quite nicely :)

Well I wanted them for my upcoming orange build. I'm trying to hide my Sabertooth X99 board as much as I can, by highlighting black/orange. Need to get rid of that brown stuff :)

The 5820K and 5930K are both 6 core 12 thread CPU's :)

Oh and I installed the white LED strips at the bottom and right of the mobo for some nice underglow :)

Nice touch dude :)

And okay, cool. Unfortunately though, there doesn't seem to be any ITX motherboards for 2011-3 socket :(... Except for an ugly ASRock.

Most people get 2011 boards for the quad channel memory so an ITX board would kind of be missing the point of ALL DAT BADWIFF ^_^

If you want mini ITX then an Asus Maximus VIII Impact is a no brainer :)

True that!... Thanks for the recommendation, although that one is LGA 1151, hence not hexa (6 cores, 12 threads) core.

aaah a Rampage V Extreme and the 5930k, sweet choices Dice :D Love that underglow on the mobo, that's a neat little touch

Doesn't really matter what you get, you'll just find some reason to return it ^_^
