X99 Finally Done ^_^

Resident Newb
Finally got round to going X99, Managed to get hold of a 5930K and Rampage V Extreme for cheap along with some Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz and with the help of a good Samaritan on the Corsair forums I was able to get hold of the 4 x 2011 mounting screws for the H110i GT :)

Still waiting on 4 x custom cables from Cablemod for my Corsair RMi PSU i.e 24 pin, 8 pin and PCI-E but it's nearly done.

Rig is mainly for gaming at 1440P but I also do some editing and rendering on Adobe Premier :)

Nice one! You joining the X99 club! :)

But haha, double side panel off ;) ... You only need to show the side panel off once, not twice you know :p

Also just noticed I put side panel off twice ^_^

Yeah, hence my nod to you writing "side panel off" twice :p... Didn't get the memo there ^_^

Nice and clean looking rig as usual :)

Also, I thought you left the Asus ROG Swift PG278Q 1440P G-Sync 144Hz 1Ms ?... You still got it?

I took a gamble with another one, Good so far plus I have my Dell 4K 27" IPS next to it but I don't use it that much compared to the Swift TBH.

It's called "my stuff dies if I just look at it wrong" he's not the only one on the forum here with it.

To be fair I've only had 1 thing die on me in quite a long time and that was the 980 Ti Matrix which while reading an email nearly blinded me with an almighty white flash, Loud pop and horrible smell of smoke ^_^

Whilst it's practically everything I don't like it does look very good (if that's your thing :) )

Nice that you've got a proper 'big boy' CPU now too dude.

Don't write off SLI. I used it loads over the years and really liked it :)

Didn't you say you had a 4k monitor? or was it some one else that had both 1440p and 4k?

Yep that's me, I have a Dell 4K IPS but honestly hardly ever use it as I spend most of my free time on the 144Hz beauty ^_^

Honestly I've never been into SLI, It interests me about as much as a dose of the clap XD
