X99 Deluxe 5930k issues OS freezing

Hello everyone,
I've built a new rig, which WAS running fine until yesterday.

I've overclocked the PC at 4,43GHz stable, and the temps were chilly at around 20-30°C @idle and use the latest MoBo Firmware.

However since today as I booted my PC I got the message, that there is a OC error.
I enter the UEFI, and set everything to recommanded Settings, save and exit.
Now I'm able to load the OS, however after I login, and I see the Desktop, I can't do anything ... for instance if I press the Windows Key button the screen freezes and the only thing I can do is to reset the PC or shutting it down.

I did that and pressed the Clear CMOS button, and the same thing happened.

F.Y.I I'm at work right now and can't do anything on my PC right now

Did anyone experience the same thing? or does someone know what's wrong?

So basically you have already set everything to its default settings right? Perhaps try reseating all the components (CPU, GPU, RAM etcc etc). Could you please also provide the voltage that was used when you OC'd the processor?

I don't recall fiddling with those switches, so I guess they should be all set to off, but I will verify that in the afternoon.
On the Voltages for the CPU I entered 1,40V as maximum, but as it failed to make my OC stable I put it down to 1,34V.

Did you not work your way up to find the stable point or did you just go bang! OC that will do heres some volts?

Have you used the preset OC you can do in the bios, have you messed with the multiplier, or the base clock?

I dont mean to be mean or anything, however have you actually read any guides of any sort in regards to OCing? not only that 1.4v is on the rather high side, not suitable for any mainstream or 24/7 uses. If the OC was unstable even at that voltage, you either have a bad chip, or it could be that you did something wrong.

Anyways please just try and inspect and reseat the processor. Hopefully no damage occured there, though it would be unlikely at those volts, I am personally more concerned about the motherboards VRM's.

I'm aware that 1,4V is pretty high and I didn't intend to leave the PC running such high voltage for a 24/7 use.
Actually I was just curious too see what my chip could potentially handle.

right, anyways what were your motherboards vrm temps? Also what was the blck that you applied? The VRMs can handle quite a bit of heat, though I am just a bit skeptic with these x99 boards.

I can't remember them, but I should have some screenshots.
I'll post them as soon I can get my hands on the files.
Max bclk was around 128MHz

I can't recall what temps the VRMs were running, however I should have some screenshots using OCCT and HWMonitor.
However I can't really access them as Windows freezes pretty much immediately afer I'm on the desktop ...
Adding to that the files are on a M.2 drive and I don't have another PC with a M.2 interface ...

well the baseclock shouldn't have caused any problems.

Anyways, when you finish work, please try completely draining all the capacitors and try again, if that doesnt work that I would suggest you inspect and reaseat your components.
