But you can afford it now so why waste your money on something slower when you can afford faster? Dosent make any sense to me, but w/e floats your boat.Thats what i thought. And maybe in 2 years when i am older and have a job i will be able to afford a pwnage C2D system. If i do the get the CPU and RAM i wont have nay issue with windows will i? i will be able to install them and it will work just like before just faster?

I agree though, i dont have an AM2 or C2D system for the same reason. My x2 4800+ is completely fine for anything i do. And to tell you the truth it hasent been in my system for a while and ive been using a 3000+ OC3D to 2.53ghz. Still run every single one of my games maxed out at high res. So really, there really isnt any difference. @ Kemp, my SLI-DR rig has been the best machine ive ever had so i hear ya.The thing is i really dont care about how good my comp is. What i have now is just fine but i want that boost in performance, going from single to dual-core and from 1 to 2Gb's.
