Woop just orderd sky

OK special heights team has been,and they cant install it ither as they have the same equipment as the sky ppl,so now i have to pay £40 to get it installed privat,so thats a ball ache as i got it as of the free installation,so its getting done tomoro.

but get this....................Sky was/could not ever install my dish as its against there health and safety so it would of been a endless cercle of engineers as if they cancel it i wil be a bad statistic .so ime going to ask for compensation of my £40 and also some incentives

well if you live on a terrice or house you are golden just dont do it when ir in a apartment if you are make sure you have a comunal dish,otherwise you will have to get it installed private,you get 6months free internet anyway,its in my GFs name so when they come tomoro we can use there phones to get through to sky and demanf out cash back plus any other compo they wanna give us.

also if they refuse can i take them to trading standers or is it somewear else

Good idea, they should of told you from the ofset. I'm sure their trained to know what they can and can't install on.

woooo its actualy installed,watched some HD channels (well BBC HD and ITV HD) and Luxe TV now out of the 3 Luxe TV looks the best not sure why,ive set the Tv signal to 1080i as i have a 720p set and Auto sets its to 563p ot whatever.

o well just the phone line now and the internet and we are sorted,ive mised cod online so much

ive had the net now since friday and i must say ime immpressed the first day it was 3.5mbs on speed test 4.1mbs in the router,now its 9.7mbs speed test and 11.6 in the router

according to my line anctuation i should be able to handle 16mb,ive got another 8days of them testing speeds,ping etc etc its change up 3times now so lets see by monday what it is
