[WIP] Snef's Sand of God

Never tried any caselabs without water collingBut with 2 x 120 on front, 3 x 120 on top and 1 x 120 on rear
I think air flow is really good

You think it would suffice then? I intend on upgrading to watercooling eventually but it won't be for another year or so probably. I thought of even making the left side panel a ventilated so that air could go out from the GPU's would that make much of a difference really tho? Also isn't there a 140mm fan mount on the bottom that I could use for intake? 4x 120's out and 2x 120's in just seems a little unstable imo but then again I could be wrong.

120 in the bottom.
With 4x120s out + all the vents in chassis and just 2x120s for intakes, rules of airflow tells your suggested vented sidepanel will draw unfiltered air into the case...not venting out as you presume.
In short -

More intakes than exhaust = Positive air pressure - less dust (provided use of filtered intakes)

More exhaust than intakes = Negative pressure - air will seap in from every open crack, vent and hole in the chassis, heavy dust build up if case not completely filtered. Negative pressure nevertheless known to do a slightly better cooling job than positive pressure.

Snefs fan set up will do an excellent job for your build as well.

After looking around a little bit more I actually think I may go with the corsair 350D. It's nice a compact but still has all the expandability that I want in a case plus it is build very nicely in my opinion. (Also not as expensive which is a plus)

Thanks
the music is from some friends, from Vancouver

looks at 900d in disgust. why cant you be as cool as this zangetsu. i spent so much money on you and you will never look as amazing as this.

another little update
start working on tubing,
my first plan was, no bending, use angle and corner fittings
my second plan was bending but only one per tube and use 90degree fitting on ram and GPU
finally try to only bending
not perfect but I like the results, what do you think?

Don't you just love some people, there I am working on my rig, being quiet pleased with my results
and then you come along and show this one:(:(:(
real nice work there mate

Looks great
And is the motorcycle still there :)
And i would keep the tubing like this it's nice and uniform

But the psu looks quiet bad in my opinion.
don't like the font and i don't think that there needs to be some sort of background
behind the letters. i would keep it simple
(one colour or a degradation as a background or no background at al)
and use a cleaner font.

the rest of this build is pure perfection :)
if the motorcycle is still there

Tbh I think there is far too much white. The accents dont do enough imo.

Although, its not me who has to sit beside it. If you love it alls good.

Really apreciate the work thats gone in tho. The attention ti detail is fantastic

:beerchug:

Love it, looks just great!

thanks

I've been following the build for a while logged out on my ipad and I just wanted to say you do some nice work snef. The one gripe I have is the picture on the PSU, I would have thought maybe a picture of sand in the background and then in white "Sand of God" but that's just me, and tbh this build is better than anything I've ever built so I can't really talk ;p

now with coolant, I think I will keep this tubing, my main concern was if im able to do it strait, vertical and horizontal
the only thing is from top rad to GPU, I tried but unable to do a 2 corner bend, need to use a 90 angle adapter
I will live with it and wait the GTX780 HOF if im able to do it

more coolant are on order
and next upgrade really soon
