[WIP] Snef's Sand of God

Very nice indeed snef!
Beautiful stickers and cables - Will surely be a treat to follow this build. Im not sure about the dye and the rings tho... is it just that little bit too yellow - not sand? I think cables are ok.
Colour matching is a bitch due to different materials, textures and possible different undercoats. Pretty much the only way to get it right is to base the colour on the non-changeable in your system and get all paints custom made to match.
Anyhoooo - if you wanted to Im sure the Mayhems could give you hints on what and how much to blend to get it to pass more for "sand".

As to the PSU - a sand fangrille maybe? Would be a nice little accent. I dont think it needs more.
Any sand accents for the exterior? Tho I think it looks stunning in white I still feel it needs just that little bit to cement the name. Maybe just a sand background on the CaseLabs badges?

Its a beautiful build so dont be put off by this small rant - the ocd in me got loose.... ;)

thanks everyone , your coments are appreciate

Thanks to put it on your facebook

@Lystfiskern
thanks
i like this type of coments, i can go in more details
keep i mind i took all pictures witha 13 years old point and shoot
i comfirm, sleeving and paint are exact same color, maybe lightning (use a computer screen with white wallpaper), or camera, i dont know
its funny because if you compare pics with black bacground, the sleeving was not same color as others pics, but in real, they are exact the same

for coolant, used Mayhem hints and its very very closed, enough to let it like that

again thanks for your coments

want to say thanks to everyone, your comments are very appreciate

Hi
another update
finally not happy with cable sleeving and length
it was Silverstone PP05 short kit but no adapted for this build
I finally went for a full custom cable
first time I do that and I like it
and the Universal Crimper sold by Daz is incredible
I made all cable with this crimper and I never crimped anything before
absolutely no error, all cable are perfect

a couple of pics

I like it! PSU sticker looks nice & organic. Cables & sleeving very neat - love the quad satas to SSDs......and since i dont see anyoneelse made a remark about it............ Your back wall complements the build very well ;)

hahahah thanks,

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I tried something today and seriously not sure
Cable lacing
for my 8 pin cpu its ok because, its the first thing we will see in windows
and with lacing, the length of 1 or 2 cable are not correct but I don't redo for sure

what do you think about cable lacing??

here a pics of my 8 pin cpu
take a lot of time
I think I will do the 24 pin but not the rest
tel me what you think

Thanks for your comments

deffo looks cleaner than all the cables overlapping each other, it gives the rig that something..special. True it takes some time, once you get the hang of it you'll be able to do it much quicker though.

If you have any questions or problems please don't hesitate to ask on the "Cable Lacing Guide" thread.

Made an account just so say that this build is absolutely amazing. It actually made me rethink my build and want to do a complete overhaul. (Besides water cooling since I can't afford it XD) Anyways great job

One question is what kind of cable do you have powering your SSD's I see it connects them all in one string which fits perfectly. All I ever see is ones that have a huge gap between each storage device. Thanks keep up the good work!

Thanks

its a custom cable, I made it, not sure if this type of cable is available because not all hdd/ssd rack have the same spacing

Snef or anybody else who may know, how is the airflow on this case? I've considered grabbing one myself. The only issue is I don't have the resources to spend on water cooling right now. I do plan in the future to water cool and I see it works just fine for that but I'm just curious if this case is fine without water cooling. Thanks

In my case I have:

2x Gtx 780's
i5 4670k (has a closed loop 120 watercooling on it)
1 HDD, PSU etc.
