windows phone 8 vs android!

so guys, buying a new phone soon, and just wanted to know your opinions on these 2 platforms. i like the idea of the windows 8 phone, but im not too sure about it and the apps out for it atm. so should i stick with android or go windows?

currently looking into the Samsung ATIV s and the HTC one x plus.

i have a lumia 920.

IMHO - i think wp8's are the way forward. all the tools/apps you use on your PC (if you have win7 or win8) can be easily ported and used either exactly the same or similarly... unlike android apps

out of the two you are looking into, to HTC is pants, and the ATIVs looks very sleek.

i have just finished a programming contract, working for Nokia... so i had my unlocked lumia920("dev sample") for free

it took some getting used to after my N95, that i had for about 5yrs, but i now love it

What about the HTC 8x as Windows phone or one of the Sony Xperia models for Android? Xperia gives you a lot of spec and good audio for the money compared to other Androids
