Windows 8 / office conflict

I have the final release version of windows 8 and have done for the past few weeks and when I have just purchased office through the Microsoft store and gone to install it the instillation got stuck so I closed it down and tried again and I had the same problem. But now when ever I go to install any new software I get an error "An installation for Microsoft Office Plus 2010 is currently suspended. You must undo the changes made bu that installation to continue. Do you want to undo those changes?" I then click on the Yes button and it just brings the prompt up again and again and I pent 5 mins clicking the yes button but to no avail. Office doesn't appear in my installed programs though nor does any other content within Office 2010.

Please help me.

I have windows 8 and office 2010 with no issues although im using a 64 bit office is yours? you may need to reinstall windows and if you do put office on second as it may be a conflict with another program.
