Hey guys,
I started my new build last Thursday, unfortunately, I've not been able to use my new rig as Windows 7 x64 refuses to install on my machine. I've tried roughly 20 times now and have stripped the rig down to it's bare essentials but it still keeps on getting the same error message.
When the installation runs through fully, I receive the following error message after completion "windows setup cannot configure windows for your hardware". I doubt that I have a hardware problem besides possibly something to do with the hard drive but I have no clue on how to fix this.
The rig is as follows:
i3 2120
ASRock H77M-ITX
Kingston Hyper X Blu (4Gb total, using a single 2Gb module atm)
Silverstone Strider Pro 500W
MSI R7950 (currently not plugged in)
Prodigy
Toshiba 120Gb 2.5" drive (not sure on model but can check if necessary)
Any suggestions guys? I'm really stuck here.
Thanks,
Oz
