Windows 10 upgrade without issues?

I also noted my install of Elite needs to *always* be launched as Admin because for whatever reason, that's how it thinks that was installed on Windows 7.. it's like.. yes, I was and still am a system admin, this is BS!?!

I'm fairly sure it has something to do with the whole upgrading a local user thing, but it never grants you proper superuser permissions so you're kind of trapped out of a large portion of the system.. at least that's how it feels..

Oh man that's just wrong! You on pro?

I was thinking of maybe upgrading today, but I can wait, got a year to do so, so... Only my current install will get older but I always keep it clean.

Upgraded myself without a hitch, but this was on a relatively clean install (maybe 1 week old). Honesty I love 10... boots in about 7 seconds after the post screen. Everything just feels much faster :)
No driver issues yet either :D

Maybe I'll take a leap of faith come weekend now that my install is still fresh and clean. Might fall in nicely with Office 2016 I'm getting. Anyway, not looking forward to running the entire how to set up my SSD for best performance again, as I might need to do some policies re-writing and I have no idea where that is lol (thankfully there's Google :D ).

I upgraded from Win 7 Ultimate and I've not had any major problems.

I originally had a minor issue with Chrome and Aero Snap where the browser would lock up sometimes, but it seems to be okay now.

Upgrade complete without issues. Must say that booting takes longer than 8.1.

Ah one issue though: my 5.1 rear speakers weren't working. Had to set it up as 7.1 speakers and disable the side speakers checkbox in the sound menu in Windows. Any solution to this so I can configure it as 5.1 again?

As there are no win 8 audio drivers I took those for 7, which has solved the problem.
