Windows 10 Switchable Graphics issue

Hey there.
I'm running into this problem on my laptop, where the switchable graphics never uses the integrated 8670, but always has the M290x on, which means that the fan is always very audible.
Now, I realize Windows 10 isn't an official and final OS yet, but today, when AMD released the 15.7 driver, optimized for Win10, I figured it would have to work. Also, there are no other issues with the laptop, everything works well. I've noticed that in the switchable graphics settings, in the list of apps, there is one named Autoupdate.exe from some Ju Ren Online guy. The app is part of the Sound Blaster Cinema software, and is the only app that I can't change the power setting for, it's always on High Power (discrete GPU). Any idea of how I could fix this? I've stopped the app from start-up, I've even deleted it from the folder where it's normally found, and nothing.
Thanks for any ideas and sorry for the long post, but it's doing my head in, especially since it's a very quiet laptop unless you're running a game.

Well Windows 10 isnt exactly completely ready. There are bound to be a few issues. Are you using the Microsoft graphics driver? Or AMDs?

It is AMD's Catalyst 15.7, released yesterday, supposedly fully supporting Windows 10 and DX12. Also, latest build of Windows 10.

Its AMD mobile. I'm not trying to be rude but you'll have loads of issues. 15.7 is only really ready for 10 for desktop GPUs.

Has to be said, the 290x in the desktop has no issues at all, it seems even more capable of keeping a very decent minimum FPS in games. Anyway, in the meantime, it started working again, the mobile one. Just woke the laptop up from sleep just now, specifically to check the thread, and I noticed the LED under the power button turned white instead of amber, which means the integrated GPU was doing the drawing. Fingers crossed it's not a fluke, haven't seen that white light in a long time.
