Windows 10 issues

Hi guys tried windows 10 again really loving the os but have a few annoyances which I think are driver related

1 in crossfire the second card is meant to sleep when not in use works on windows 7 not here constantly on and it's deduct clock speed.

2 eyefinity works until you do bezel compensation then is just spass out.

3 I have THX studio installed Windows 7 this enabled surround and an improvement to sound quality in windows 10 it seems to do nothing surround only seems to work when manually making all the speakers identify them selves.

I currently am hating AMD fury is ugly and windows 10 is just about to relate and no driver updates.

For the Crossfire issue have you enables ULPS ( ultra low power state ) ? RUN, regedit, search enable ulps and change the value to 0. That will put GPU 2 into what is like a sleep mode, until it is needed.

0 is already in it do i need t change to 1 for on?

Also love edge but every time i open it is just opens where the hell it like never opens where you left it like every other app

Well I've just double checked mine ( W8.1 ) as it does make sense for 1 to be on, but 0 is on, I changed it to 1 and it switched off.

Your complaining about W10 when it's not even out yet and still in it's preview phase.. It's going to happen. Your beta testing for MS. Go report it to them and on their forum and see if anyone who actually is on W10 could help you. Don't think anyone here has it.. You're bound to get better answers on their forums dude. It's hard to help when none of us have used it:p

Congratulations, you found some bugs in a beta OS. Now please let MS know about them, so they can fix them ready for the full roll-out on July 29th.

You did know that's what beta software is for, right? So that people can find bugs in advance of full releases so that everyone else can enjoy stable software because they waited for the full release?

Well I am quite concerned that in 4 weeks it will release and still several manufactures have no drivers which seem to be cause of most of the problems out I can see it releasing and still having issues.

I want to belive it will be good but I can see myself going back to W7

This is normal for a new OS, always has been. It takes time. W10 is not just introducing DX12/12.1 it's also bringing in WDDM 2.0 over the older 1.0 version. It'll take some time for not just AMD/Nvidia to get solid drivers out for them, it'll be for everyone as well. Just be glad most things are getting automatic drivers.

Why not just go back to W7 for now then? After all the preview is just that, a preview. At the moment you can also use the standard drivers for W8 on W10.
