I have tried my moto E, Moto e4 plus and my fire 8 2017 and none of them appear in windows 10.

I went into drivers and the device comes up with the little triangle but no matter what I do nothing happens.

I even installed windows media feature again nothing happens

restarted pc as well as devices 0 luck

Installed ADB drivers countless times again 0 luck

All drivers updated on my pc and usb sticks work as well as external hard drives

Any ideas and yes this iv even done a fresh install of windows 10

Next issue is xbox one s white controller and bluetooth.
I can pair the controller and it works fine, and updated using the windows store but the minute I turn my pc off I have to re pair the controller all over again.

again all drivers updated bluetooth is fine as all other devices paired up work fine even after a restart or reboot

controller works fine with usb cable and xbox dongle, and with those i can reboot and restart with no pairing Issues....

Oh I should point out both problems i dont get under linux that I installed on a another hard drive

When you plug it in you need to unlock your Android device and tap the new icon on the notification bar and then allow the device to transfer files.its a security feature.

Devices are unlocked, doesnt matter if i switch from MTP to PTP and back again

Being unlocked isn't enough. You need to allow it access. MTP or PTP don't even come into the equation here. Just do what I said earlier and it'll work.

If you only get 4 options of charging , MTP, PTP, and the other one, can't remember then I'm not sure. I know people who have had that. On my phone I get the option of "File transfer" and it let's Windows see everything. It's a completely different prompt than the 4 option window on the andriod screen.
