Why do people hate blue PCB?

This might be in the wrong section. Sorry.

Anyway I've been looking around on google & YouTube wondering why people hate blue PCB. I don't see what's wrong with it.

Depends if it fits the theme of the build it's in. Black is easier to fit in any theme imo.

This.

It's not that anyone hates blue, it's just that most people think a black board would be better. You can't really use a blue PCB in a Black& White, Red, Yellow, Orange, any colour that's not blue build.

Luckily with the z87 series most boards are black now. Only the budget boards still have a blue PCB, mainly the ones from Gigabyte as MSI and ASRock's are brown.

I think the main problem is that most mobos have black or really dark brown pcbs so blue on a gpu eg sappire cards just looks wrong.
If youve got a gigabyte board with a blue pcb then its not too bad.
My personal opinion is that it just looks abit cheap and tacky

I love blue pcbs which is why I have a gigabyte motherboard and a sapphire gpu. I was quite depressed when I saw the new gigabyte motherboards had dispensed with the blue pcb and gone with the common black. At least they still look better than Asus boards. (Can't stand their rog series and the new ones being gold is even worse) I also like the really old green pcbs that were common in the 90's, which now only seem to exist in the server/workstation market now.
