well i was tired of the plain white look of my R3 its nice but next to all the black that everything else it there needed to be some color mixed in, so i painted the front panel of my R3 Chevy orange and man it stands out next to the white on the case, hope you guys like it.

Definitely a different look, I like it. What's the rest of your system specs? Do you have any inside shots?

Looks pretty cool. personally i would like to see a little more orange somewhere as an accent, not all the color in 1 place.

But good job, its looking good so far

no shots of the inside. its to messy.

spec's are

2600k stock

z68x-ud4-b3

gskill 8gb 1866mhz ran

gtx460 768mb

2x640gb wd blacks

2x750gb sg

1.5th and 1tb wd green

64gb ssd

850watt psu

You should post before and after shots then. Messy wire pics first, then the pics after you clean it up.

Nice system you have there. Have you tried clocking the 2600k at all yet? What cooler are you using?

i quite like that , as mrdmx said some more orange may go well but i dont know what else you could paint really, oh i suppose thoose silenceing blocks that they provide to cover the unused fan holes could be painted orange or get some orange leds to shine through the side vents ect,

oh you could also change the power on led to orange aswell

would look really individual

i have thought about putting more orange on it but where is the question, all this hardware will be going into my lian-li build and i will be building another computer in here after that, so where do you guys think there should be more orange, i was thinking mayby a 1/2inch wide line around the window im going to cut into the side panel. oh and here is the shot of the inside

That 8pin CPU needs to go up the back and if its too shot to go through the top cut outs, poke it through the CPU heatsink cut out and put it up behind the mobo tray

fliup the psu over and you'll get a lil more slack. They can go in either orientation. Then once ya have the cables managed better we can see better to say where to paint

Also work on a better cpu cooler

and lastly lol just because your case can hold 8 3.5 drives doesnt mean it has to lol

what SIN said ^^^^

i tried to put the fan facing upwards on my build, but the cables just would not wanna go, so i have to flip it, and its amazing how much 'longer' they seems to get

as for the orange, i don't know where more would go, i guess you would use it around something like a trim, or maybe on the fan grills, or as suggested just have some orange LEDs in there to shin out

I'd go with a couple of orange led fans through the top and side, nice accent to the front colour, classy bling.

Chevy Orange - best colour in the world. My dad got a new engine block for his cobra and it's black, the old one was Chevy Orange and I moaned at him. Really want a white and orange case now!

thanks guys, the case is now for sale, i will not be keeping it, no point in having it sit in the box in the closet.

hmm, yeah, just a little bit of cable management goes a long way (even if its only 15 minuites) and that grey case really dosen't do justice to your build
