Which sound card

I'm looking at buying a sound card to get away from the onboard sound on my racing rig. I don't have too much cash available though about £50 ($90). The card will be hooked up to a set of Creative Inspire GD580 speakers.

I've been looking at Audigy 4 oem cards, are these any good?

i have an audigy 4,they are pretty cool and the remote and software are real cool when ur feelin lazy because you can acess all ur vids'n'music from say your bed

the sound quality is good for music,can definately hear improvements over mobo integrated sound,its not too bad for gaming

i can hear the footsteps in css when they get close and like if someone de-fuses the bomb n ime round the corner

its not a bad card for the price and has decent software with it and not forgetting the media remote.

oh and i would really go for a retail package one so you get the other bits i mentioned.

and i run if through my hifi as well btw(450w,2 speakers 1 sub)

i reckon it would still fit in ur budget becuase mine was about £50 or somewhere around there from pc world and they are uber rip off lol

but i couldnt be bothered to order it online and wait:rollingla

Ye also the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum with breakout box is rather cheap at the moment
