Hey guys,

I'm in need of a power supply for folding rig, recently bought a Bequite 730w but it had to be put in my dad's rig as his old psu died.

I'm looking for something reliable duh

but also something that will allow space for future upgrades also.

I have a budget of £90.

I'd say in that case a semi-modular PSU would be best.

My picks would be (for under £90): Corsair TX750M, XFX 750W Semi-Modular or if you can live with a non-modular unit there's the XFX Core edition 750W, Corsair TX750 and also Aria are doing a cracking deal on the 800W Mushkin Joule

Here are some PSU for you ranging from 60-95 pound.

all are SLI\CF ready for future upgrade has good amprage on the 12V rails for stubilty and compatabilty for power hungry GPU's.

the one marked with star's * are 95 quid just above your range but worth the extra fiver, but are a better bang for your buck.

especially the TX-750.

Non modular ones:

850W XFX Core Edition 80PLUS Bronze Power Supply

800W Mushkin Joule 80PLUS Silver Power Supply

750W Antec HCG-750 80PLUS Bronze*

750W Cooler Master GX 80PLUS Bronze

modular ones:

750W OCZ ZT Series 80PLUS Bronze

750W Corsair TX750M 80PLUS Bronze*

hope this help a bit.

I use an Enermax Naxn series 750W , and it does the job brilliantly!

p.s

higher rating (gold silver) and modualr are always more pricey so calculate your need first.

800w mushkin is tempting due to the price, but with the Corsair TX750M being a bit more modular, carrying a 5 year warranty and is a brand used by many fits my needs nicely
