Which 4GB RAM to pick?

I work with those boards daily. Personally I'd advise Crucial Ballistix. I'm not too keen on G Skill - had a few compatibilty problems when overclocking where as Crucial just works.

Had great experiences with Mushkin Redline and GSkill too. Crucial make some decent RAM, as do OCZ. Really most good DDR2 has Micron D9GMH modules so your relatively safe if you pick a set with those modules

Personally I have an IP25 Pro and have a set of the 4GB OCZ ReaperX. It's cheap, fast and OC's like hell :)

Yes, Reaper X does clock well. Bear in mind, if you have a motherboard that runs its dual channel slots side by side (some gigabyte ones do) they won't fit, due to the heatsink design.

Or if you're wanting an 8GB system!

Depending on the board, they won't fit in adjacent slots. Most slots are too close together to accomodate the modules in all slots.

But, since on most boards dual channel is slot 1 and 3, there's enough clearence for the heatpipes.

Some boards however, have wider slots and will accomodate 4 in a row, but not many.

I chose crucial ballistix tracer 1066. Best bang for the buck by far if you ask me, as they are VERY stable. ive got mine clocked at 1200mhz on standard 2.2v
