Help me decide on new build

I am so heart broken I can not buy a case labs case. It is the only thing I could fit my ideas in :/ They said the only way I could get a caselabs case is to come and pick it up from LA or something ... I am in the UK

Did you follow the instructions here?:
http://www.caselabs-store.com/international-shipping-charges/

Looking at the comments at the bottom of the page there are quite a few from people in the UK.

oh dude that's got to suck...
at least your getting one :P

I sure hope so!

Well this sucks:

The 30 business days of the "25-30 business days" is up today. Hopefully I don't have to wait another 30.

So is what they are saying is, they are working on other peoples orders before yours , surely at the time of order the lead time is the lead time, end of story. I don't think i'll ever be bother to get a caselabs, the 'my want' to how much they love themselves ratio is all messed up.

OK, the case has been in so now for the rest of the gear.

This is what I have so far:
MSI GTX 980
Caselabs Mercury S3
Corsair H105

I'm probably going to order the rest this week. Here's what I'm thinking:

Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Impact
CPU: Intel i7 4790k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2x8) DDR3 2400
SSD: Crucial MX100 512GB SSD
PSU: Corsair HXi 750W Power Supply

How does that list look? Any other suggestions?

I am going to make custom sleeved cables so I have the least amount of cabling needed. What's a good sleeve to look at, also what toolkit?

Lot of overkill on the PSU, even 550W would be fine although I'd personally go for 650 for a nice balance between efficiency and silence.

Other than that it looks good. Quite similar to mine (albeit higher-end) and I'm really happy with my build :)

You can't get below 750w in the AXi or HXi line. Outside of those lines, what would you recommend in a fully modular power supply?

Personally, I have an RM650 that has never spun up with my Xeon 1230 V3 and GTX 760 under load. Very, very quiet and a solid unit so far. You can also get the braided cable kits for them which is really nice.

Non-corsair there are of course the Superflower offerings, which are amazing (or EVGA, which are the same units but without the white light on the connectors). There's also the new Bitfenix PSUs, and while they come with awesome pre-braided black cables as standard, I'm not sure on the quality of them, you'll have to look up some reviews :)

Ordered. Newegg was out of stock on the RM650 so kept with the HX750i as I wanted to stick with Corsair. They do such a wonderful job with support here so I wanted to support them with my monies. I do appreciate the advice.

Project log in the coming weeks....

I would go for a SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 650W or a Corsair AX760i but that's just me...
