Hmm, no Toshiba were the first . As for a 750gb, that's true, but I think everybody is/was distracted by the target of 1tb (or they were busy with prt 2.5"'s as there's more money in that area of the market). I don't think it's a case of one manufacturer getting there first with 1tb, (or atleast, Hitachi and Seagate are going to get there the same time), as it's a more widespread target.
