whats gone wrong ?

I was playing world of warcraft then went to make lunch then it went into power save then before I could wake it up I had a power cut then can't turn it back on again there is no power but my mouse is glowing my specs are .... Gigabyte h55m-s2, i3 540, hd6850, 500gb hdd, corsair 600cx. Could you help

maybe you had a power surge and its damaged parts?

Try powering off the computer and switching off the power supply then taking the CMOS battery out of the motherboard for 15 minutes then reinsert the battery and try to power on.

If removing the battery doesn't work then I reckon something may have died

EDIT: Never mind that.

I do recommend trying what AdrianD2 says, or just try flipping the CMOS jumper.
