According to Arctic Silver, its highly unlikely, but apparently the conductivity of AS5 does increase over time...so its still a possibility.

Mine is an AMD Athlon XP 3200+ Barton (notoriously hot). I have 26-28deg at idle with a room temp of around 27-30deg. And it loads at around 35deg max. That's with AS5 and a Swiftech/SilenX combo. Do I win?
