Hi guys,

now you may or may not know that i am currently doing surgery on my tj07 so i can fit a 360mm radiator in the roof.

so i looked at it and it seems like the phobya rad grill has screw holes for m3 screws and well i have m3 screws so i was wondering what size drill bit do i use to drill the holes into the top of the case to hold the rad grill

now if i have confused you i apologise but i am modding noob but any help would be much appreciated

thank you for any help,

ruthless

so ur drilling holes for the screws to pass thru right?? then I'd say m4 should allow for a little wiggle room. as long as you dont drill bigger than the screw head you'll be fine. And if you do then you'll need washers

Erm they kinda need to hold the grill still, cant be too loose

lmao mate I meant for installing the screws when ya tighten them down they wont move lol your asking for hole size when ya screw parts together they tighten up. but as I said M4 will work fine

is this for the thread to just pass through?

4mm hole would do it fine.

if you intend on threading the hole to fit an M3 screw you would need to go like 2.5mm then use a M3 tap.(this would be the better option either way IMO)
