What phone have you got?

S2 here, had it since release - never going back to fruitphones. Andriod ftw

Yeah it's epic.

Apple are a bunch of hypocrite knobs. Basically all of the main new features in iOS 5 are copied. Blackberry messenger, Android notifications, HTC Sense 3.0 lockscreen, WebOS multitasking. But hey, it's truly amazing! *sigh* ;p

HTC Desire HD

Battery life was absolute pants when I first got it. Now since the first day, it's lifespan has at least doubled. Guess it just needs wearing in, and some careful power consumption settings on Android.

Android FTW any day of the week.

I already got all those features on my JailBroken iPhone

But then you take a look at other operating systems and think, how much did they try and replicate iOS.

Heard good things about the galaxy s2, but I think once you have had an iPhone you will never want to go back to a normal phone.....

You don't jailbreak the phone to go to iOS 5. You need a developer to register your phone's UDID. Then iOS 5 will work. I'm using iOS 5 beta 4 on both my iPad and iPhone 4.

Once you get your UDID registered with a developer then you can download the iTunes beta and iOS beta. The beta versions have to match.

Samsung A411, a what?

I'd love to get a smartphone for mobile browsing and live blogging; I've yet to find a data-only mobile phone, not 3G modem plan that I feel comfortable with. I don't voice call much, I only SMS a few times a month, and even with undiscounted data rates it's cheaper to tweet than text. Plus some plans have unmetered Twitter, which leaves a lot excess unused data that I willn't be away from a desktop long enough in between work and rest to do full mobile web browsing.

How do you go about registering it with a developer?
